MHR welcomes The Lowry to the Leng’s Collection

Manchester’s five-star Lowry Hotel has joined Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) as part of the Leng’s Collection.

Situated on the banks of the River Irwell, The Lowry Hotel features 165 rooms, the River Restaurant and Bar, a spa, and multiple event spaces. The hotel is owned by CDL Hospitality Trust.

The Leng’s Collection is described as a 'distinctive portfolio' of hotels within Millennium, with each property highlighting 'individuality' by blending contemporary luxury with cultural authenticity and architectural character.

Vicky Marshman, general manager of The Lowry Hotel, said: “Joining Millennium Hotels and Resorts as part of the Leng’s Collection is an incredible opportunity for The Lowry Hotel. This partnership allows us to further elevate our mission of creating authentic, inspirational moments for our guests, while leveraging MHR’s expertise and global reach. We are excited to continue delivering the warm, inclusive, and intuitive service that makes The Lowry Hotel truly iconic.”

Christophe Cialdella, vice president, operations and owner’s representative, Europe and UK, Millennium Hotels and Resorts, said: “The Lowry Hotel perfectly encapsulates what the Leng’s Collection represents: individuality, elegance, and a strong connection to its surroundings. Its reputation as Manchester’s favourite hotel and its commitment to exceptional guest experiences make it a natural fit for our portfolio. We are thrilled to welcome The Lowry Hotel into the MHR family and look forward to supporting its continued success.”

MHR owns, manages, and operates over 145 properties globally. Its portfolio includes brands such as The Biltmore, Grand Millennium, Millennium, M Social, Studio M, M Hotel, Copthorne, and Kingsgate.
