ISS appoints new Chief People Officer

“Rebecca Jeffs, Chief People Officer, ISS UK & Ireland”
ISS UK & Ireland (ISS) has announced the appointment of Rebecca Jeffs as Chief People Officer, effective February 3.

The appointment follows a thorough and unbiased search process aimed at finding an experienced and skilled candidate to support the ongoing transformation of ISS UK & Ireland and contribute to the achievement of ISS’s global Signature Moves.

Jeffs succeeds Sandy Lucas, Director of People & Culture, who joined ISS in January 2022. Sandy has decided to pursue a business venture with her husband outside the facilities management industry. Since joining the company in July 2023, Jeffs has proven herself as an exceptional candidate, notably playing a key role in driving the People and Culture (P&C) transformation programme forward.

With over 25 years of experience as a Global HR, People, and Culture Leader across three continents and various industries, Jeffs brings a proven track record in driving global cultural change, HR/P&C transformation, building diverse leadership talent pipelines, and enhancing the employee experience. Her efforts have fostered a culture where everyone can thrive and contribute to business success, including growth and social sustainability.

Jeffs is deeply committed to fostering truly inclusive cultures and celebrating the unique contributions of every individual. A certified team and individual coach, she focuses on unlocking potential for growth. Regarding her appointment, she said “I am thrilled to take on this challenging role, working alongside such a talented and committed ISS team. It is not often one has the opportunity to assume responsibility for a programme of transformational initiatives with such breadth and vision. I look forward to leading the People & Culture function as we come together as a business to achieve our shared objectives.”

Scott Davies, CEO of ISS UK & Ireland, added: “It is testament to our continued efforts to enrich our People & Culture leadership team and strengthen our succession pipeline that we have been able to promote a candidate of Rebecca’s calibre and experience from within. I know that, in Rebecca, we have found the right candidate to drive our ongoing transformation and achieve our ambition to become an employer of choice, and the Company of Belonging in the UK and Ireland.”
