London's famous Savoy Hotel is to introduce a more 'casual' style of dining at a new restaurant, Kaspar Seafood Bar & Grill, which is to offer a brasserie-style menu. It will be an all-day restaurant which will also welcome children with a mini menu.
The 'simple and approachable menu', created by head chef James Pare, will feature everything from a lobster club sandwich, dover sole with brown butter caper sauce to a smoked salmon sausage, along with trusted favourites like apple tarte tartin or vanilla rice pudding for dessert.
The new restaurant is due to open May 2nd and will replace the River Restaurant, a French establishment that opened after a £220 million refurbishment of the hotel that was completed in October 2010.
