Restaurant operator Inception Group is set to open its sixth site, Brazillian inspired nightclub, Cocobananas in Battersea, London.
The company, which will also see the opening of bar and dance saloon Beaver Lodge, in Chelsea this summer, has announced its plan to continue to grow the business and open multiple sited under its existing brands within the UK and potentially oversees.
Inception Co-Founder Charlie Gilkes, said, “We are getting to a point now where we do want to do multiples of some sites. The one we’ve really earmarked is Bunga Bunga, which is the largest volume business.”
He added, “If the right contract opportunity arose for us to either take one existing concept abroad or develop a new concept on a management agreement basis, like Mahiki has done in Dubai, like Eclipse has done in Barcelona, it’s something that would interest us.”
The group currently operate five other venues in the capital which include 70s-style Disco London, 80s-themed club Maggie’s, speakeasy bar Bart’s, Italian bar-restaurant Bunga Bunga, and Mr Fogg’s, inspired by Jules Verne’s Around the World in Eighty Days.
Cocobananas is set to open next door to company-run Bunga Bunga in Battersea in the summer.
