The owners of Cabana Brasilian Barbecue and Hush Brasseries have secured a £5m equity investment to expand the restaurant chains.
The new investment will go towards national expansion of both chains with three further openings expected for Cabana by the end of the year, including a flagship site at the O2 Arena, and a fourth Hush outlet.
Founded in 2011 by Jamie Barber and fellow restaurant mogul David Ponté, Cabana specialises in Brazilian foods and dishes and has grown to five sites across London including Islington, Wembley, Covent Garden, and sites at both Westfield London and Westfield Stratford.
Barber’s European-themed restaurant and cocktail bar chain, Hush Brasseries is also located in London, with sites in Mayfair, St Pauls and Holborn.
