Company of Cooks secures over £18 million in retained contracts

Company of Cooks has renewed its partnerships with all the Livery clients in its portfolio, securing over £18 million in retained business in the City of London.

The agreements, spanning three to five years, will see the caterer continue managing and delivering events at Brewers’ Hall, Coopers’ Hall, Goldsmiths’ Hall (pictured), Ironmongers’ Hall, and Plaisterers’ Hall.

Company of Cooks, which has partnered with some of its Livery clients for over 20 years, stated that many of the venues had “in many cases exceeded targets and expectations.”

The company attributed the contract renewals in part to its teams' specialist knowledge and deep understanding of the halls' heritage.

Rob Fredrickson, Company of Cooks’ managing director, said: “Extending our partnerships with our Livery clients gives us the privilege and opportunity to continue to bring our craft and creativity to these unique spaces in the City.

“This sector is steeped in history and tradition, but its innate ability to adapt and evolve has enabled it to remain relevant and continue to grow in the modern world. We look forward to evolving together as we continue to attract a broader audience and drive revenues.'

The original Company of Cooks catering business was founded in 1996 and was acquired by CH&Co in 2019.

Its portfolio includes prestigious venues such as the Royal Opera House, RHS Garden Wisley, and the Historic Royal Palaces.
