SPAR’s national brand campaign, BIG Deals of Christmas, is back and bigger than ever for 2024.
Launching in SPAR stores on 17th October in Scotland and from 31st October in England and Wales, this year’s campaign promises even more incredible promotional offers.
In addition to unbeatable in-store deals, SPAR will provide recipe ideas, cocktail inspiration, and festive tips to help make the holiday season extra special—designed to drive shoppers into stores.

It helps our SPAR retailers attract more customers, boosting sales and ensuring they remain competitive during the busy holiday season. We have worked with some of the biggest market-leading brands to ensure our retailers have engaging promotions and tailored offers that will bring shoppers into SPAR stores.'
Running until 1st January 2025, the campaign will feature market-leading promotional offers on major brands, ensuring shoppers can enjoy festive treats at unbeatable prices.
SPAR stores are encouraged to engage with the campaign’s social media content. Due to popular demand, Santa Claus and his elves, Norty and Näice, will return, spreading festive cheer to SPAR shoppers nationwide. This year, there will be new animations and additional elements in the POS kits to help guide shoppers through the deals.
The Christmas campaign will be supported by a national media plan that brings the deals to life, including a £200,000 digital spend, in-store POS displays, digital screen promotion, social media support, and TV advertising on STV in Scotland.
To add even more excitement, SPAR is offering two tickets to the 2026 national SPAR conference in Abu Dhabi for the store with the best in-store display or customer engagement.
