BHA welcomes new partner PSL

The British Hospitality Association (BHA) has announced a new partner in PSL - Your Food Solutions Partner.

The partnership arrives at a time when food procurement, recipe costing and allergen management has never been more important to the hospitality and tourism industry.

PSL’s vast knowledge and industry insight specific to hospitality has built up over 23 years of expertise and experience that has involved food procurement, food profitability and onsite operational support solutions that save time and money, ultimately increasing profit, for hospitality businesses.

Established in 1993, PSL is the UK’s largest food procurement company working in partnership with over 650 hotels through its network of over 150 suppliers. The BHA’s 45,000 members will benefit from PSL’s ahead-of-the-curve insight on systems and suppliers while PSL can continue to deliver food savings and consistently monitor and develop food profitability to ensure continued growth and success for all stakeholders.

The newly established partnership will ensure that key industry-specific expertise is used to better aid hospitality businesses with the shared aim of ensuring the ongoing supply of the highest quality standards of food and a commitment to controlling costs and increasing profits and margin.

Daniel Wilson, Managing Director of PSL, said, “We support a wide number of key organisations within the hospitality industry and we are delighted that this now includes the BHA. Given the current climate of uncertainty particularly around Brexit and the challenges that will present our industry it is more important than ever that we have a clear and strong voice through the BHA”

Ufi Ibrahim, CEO of the BHA, said, “We are delighted to welcome PSL as a new partner. Food procurement is high on the agenda for hospitality and tourism businesses and the partnership will foster improvements with benefits for all. The BHA prides itself on offering great partnership deals to our community of members and is delighted to have PSL on board as a member.”
