International distribution and outsourcing group, Bunzl has acquired Aggora Group, the Redditch-based foodservice equipment supplier, for undisclosed terms.
Aggora Group is principally engaged in the design, supply, installation and maintenance of commercial catering equipment for end user customers throughout the UK. Revenue in the year ended March 2017 was £27m.
The company, which has a team of over 120 qualified catering equipment engineers, works across many sectors including Restaurants, Cafes & Hotels, MoD, B&I, Healthcare, Education, Leisure & Sport, and Retail.
Commenting on the acquisition, Frank van Zanten, Chief Executive of Bunzl said, 'The purchase of Aggora Group has extended our catering equipment business in the UK.”
