KFC UK has today launched its new vegan 'chicken' burger called The Impostor, which will be available for four weeks in selected restaurants across London, Bristol, and the Midlands.
The new vegan burger is made from a bespoke Quorn fillet, coated in the chain's Original Recipe herbs and spices, lettuce, and vegan mayo in a soft-glazed bun.
The Yum! fast food chain stated that the new option is aimed at not only at vegans, but vegetarians, flexitarians, and meat-eaters too.
The sites serving up the new vegan burger include: London's Gloucester Road outlet, nine in Bristol, two in Walsall, and one in: Birmingham, Bloxwich, Cannock, Tamworth, Tyburn, Dudley, Stourbridge, and Dudley.
Interestingly, there are currently no plans for KFC to launch The Imposter in the US, according to Vegconomist.
