The Greyhound in Beaconsfield announces Chef promotions

The Greyhound, located in Beaconsfield, has announced the promotion of Jermaine Harriott to the position of head chef, with James Askew also being promoted to the role of development chef.

Jermaine Harriott, who has been an integral part of The Greyhound as its sous chef for the past year, brings a wealth of experience from working in some of the UK's most prestigious restaurants. Throughout his career, he has honed his skills at esteemed establishments such as Langan's Brasserie in London, The Royal Over-Seas League, Jason Atherton's Pollen Street Social, and Skylon restaurant, where he had the privilege of working under the guidance of Tom Cook.

Harriott has also made significant contributions to the culinary scene in Manchester, having worked at highly regarded establishments such as Mr Cooper's at the Midland Hotel and Aiden Byrne's 20 Stories. Known for his emphasis on seasonal produce and the preservation of ingredient integrity, Harriott's cooking style is dedicated to creating dishes that highlight the natural flavors of each component.

Meanwhile, James Askew, who previously held the position of head chef at The Greyhound, will now collaborate with Graham Blower, the company's operations director. In his new role as development chef, Askew will spearhead the development of special projects and provide support for the restaurant's broader growth plans. Together, Askew and Blower will contribute to the continued success and expansion of The Greyhound.

The Greyhound is a multi-award-winning pub and restaurant situated in Beaconsfield. Its co-owner, Daniel Crump, has recently been honored with the prestigious title of Master of Culinary Arts for service. This esteemed recognition places him among an exclusive group of only 25 individuals in the UK who have attained this remarkable accolade.
