Seasoned secures approved supplier status at the British Museum and Whitechapel Gallery

Seasoned has successfully gained approved supplier status at both the British Museum and Whitechapel Gallery after completing formal tender processes.

Since 2015, Seasoned has collaborated with the British Museum, organising a variety of daytime and evening events for commercial clients and corporate sponsors. These events have taken place across the Museum’s uniquely versatile spaces, including the iconic two-acre Great Court, the Egyptian Sculpture Gallery, the Enlightenment Gallery, the Nereid Gallery, the Wellcome Trust Gallery, and a suite of modern conference facilities, such as the sleek BP Lecture Theatre.

Sales and Marketing Director, Nicky Pratt said of the British Museum contract awards: “We are so thrilled to extend our partnership with the Museum teams at such an iconic Grade I listed venue. Once again it demonstrates that we are trusted by prestigious cultural venues to deliver amazing, personalised events. Exceptional event catering with impact is what we are renowned for, and we will continue to ensure our events are delivered, planned and managed as sustainably as possible through our local supply chain of London suppliers and social enterprises.”

Lisa Guastella, Head of Venue Sales and Marketing at the British Museum added: “We are so excited to be continuing our successful relationship with Seasoned and the team! Our clients always give us such incredible feedback on their food and service, especially their creative and bespoke menus, and they are a joy to work with every time. I look forward to delivering more amazing events with them.”

For the first time in its forty-year history, Seasoned will be included on the brand-new accredited caterer list for Whitechapel Gallery. Established in 1901 with the mission 'to present the finest art of the world for the people of the East End, London,' the Gallery has a distinguished history of firsts and is known for identifying and supporting local and emerging artists. The Gallery offers 3,600 square meters of stunning event spaces, including two galleries, an auditorium, and two studio spaces, all available for hire for daytime and evening events.

Nicky added: “We are so excited to be joining Whitechapel Gallery’s list of approved caterers. We share fundamental cultural alignments with the Gallery, so we are looking forward to making an impact, not only with our food but also with our support to charity and community. Our team cannot wait to start imagining and designing new possibilities to transform the stylish airy studios and contemporary brick-exposed Galleries for events.”
