Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has launched a new meat-free burger across all outlets today.
The launch comes after a successful trial in London, Bristol and the Midlands last summer. During the trial phase, the vegan burger sold out within four days, with demand over 500% higher than predicted.
The fast food chain hasn't launched this new burger just for Veganuary or for a season, but as a permanent fixture on the menu.
The Zero Chicken Burger has a Quorn fillet which has been coated in the brand's famous 11 herbs and spices. The meat-free burger is served with vegan mayonnaise and iceberg lettuce in a soft-glazed bun.
Customers will be paying £3.99 just for the burger, without any sides or drinks.
