Sticks’n’Sushi launches new menu with more plant-based dishes

Following the announcement of its new restaurant opening taking place later this year at White City, Sticks’n’Sushi has reimagined its menus, packed full of new dishes and flavours and with more plant-based options than ever.

Combining traditional sushi with yakitori sticks from the grill, the new menu, available now, features brand-new dishes alongside much-loved classics and includes seasonal specials which were requested so often by guests they’ve earnt a permanent spot on the menu.

The new menu builds on the high-quality, fresh fare for which the restaurant group is known, offering an even more innovative style of food and retaining everything that we love most about the unique fusion of Japanese and Danish cultures.

Dishes include the brand-new ‘Hiramasa Aburi’, a delicious seared Hiramasa, with a yuzu miso, spring onion yuzu-kosho and ponzu and the much-loved ‘Kinoko Katzu’ made with blue oyster mushrooms, soya panko and served with a lime & chilli dip.

The new menu still includes the iconic ‘Ebi Bites’ and other classic favourites such as the popular ‘Hotate Kataifi’, a delicate dish made with scallops, miso aioli and trout roe.

A wider variety of plant-based dishes allows the brilliant sushi masters to showcase their creativity and expertise, experimenting with flavours to offer bites which are delicious and skilfully prepared.

Throughout the entire menu, all sauces and butters are now vegan friendly, eliminating the need to cater especially for those who follow a plant-based diet, yet maintaining the delicious umami flavours which complement the dishes perfectly. The new ‘Nasu Aburi Nigiri’ is a plant-based nigiri made with mouth-watering seared aubergine and uniquely paired with fermented green chilli and yuzu.

The set menus have also been refreshed, including all new dishes, bursting with flavour. The ‘As Good As It Gets’ set menu for two is the star of the show, and includes small bites of the most popular dishes on the menu, including the ‘Wagyu Bites’, ‘Tuna Tataki’ and the gorgeous ‘Robusuta House Roll’ – fresh Norway lobster with avocado, snow peas, shiso & miso aioli and topped with trout roe.

Guests can complete their meal by choosing from the unique and extensive drinks list, including perfectly mixed Japanese-inspired cocktails, warming sakes, and a varied list of delicate Japanese teas, which all pair perfectly with the fresh flavours of Sticks’n’Sushi dishes.
