Greene King Pub Partners, the leased, tenanted and franchise division of Greene King, has ranked first out of the six biggest pub companies in KAM’s latest Licensee Index.
Out of the six largest pub operating businesses, Greene King Pub Partners ranked first in 35 of the 54 measures (65%) covered in the index. This includes key measures such as Training, BDM Knowledge, Property and Licensing support, Market and Consumer insight, Product Range and more.
Significantly, Greene King Pub Partners’ 150 tenants and lessees who were surveyed for the index – including multiple operators who are tenants and lessees with other pub operating businesses – rated Greene King as the most transparent in their dealings.
The Licensee Index is the annual industry-leading operator sentiment tracker for the UK leased and tenanted pub sector. Conducted independently, it measures how pub operating businesses are viewed by their leased and tenanted licensees and how they benchmark against their peers within the leased and tenanted pub market.
The index surveys over 1,500 tenants and lessees of 17 of the largest pub operating businesses in the UK. Sample sizes for each pub operating business are determined as a ratio of their relevant share of all leased and tenanted pubs in the UK.
Wayne Shurvinton, Managing Director for Greene King Pub Partners, shared, “We’re absolutely delighted to come top of the Licensee Index. I am particularly proud that our Partners rank us as the most transparent pub operating business.
“Our Partners come first in all we do and these results are proof of that. We’ll continue to drive positive change in our business this year to help our partners.”
