SushiDog to open London site in Fitzrovia

Quick-service sushi roll brand SushiDog is set to open its tenth London location by the end of the month, marking a milestone in its continued expansion across the capital.

Nick Goldstein, co-founder of SushiDog, announced on LinkedIn (7 April) that the brand has reached a milestone with the opening of its tenth and largest site to date, located in London’s Fitzrovia. He described it as “a particularly special day” as the business celebrates hitting double digits in store count.

He added that he and his co-founder Greg Ilsen “have come a long way from packing a van back in 2018 and driving all our kit to Westfield to open Site 1”.

SushiDog, known for its made-to-order sushi rolls, bowls, and salads prepared in front of customers, secured £612,000 from investment firm Middleton Enterprises in early 2023, followed by an additional £800,000 last year. The funding supports the brand’s ambitious plan to launch 30 new locations across London within the next five years.

Last year, SushiDog expanded its presence with four new openings, including locations in Bank and London Bridge.
